      • Comprehensive Evaluation Process for Administrators (PDF): Provided by Kennewick School District, this resource serves as a step by step guide to the comprehensive evaluation process for administrators, including three data criteria (student growth goals) for principals.
      • Wenatchee School District Principal Evaluation Process (PDF): This guide was created by Wenatchee Public Schools and includes a glossary of terms and evaluation options.
      • Protocol: Diving into the Rubrics (PDF): Created by the Washington State Leadership Academy, this protocol should be used with principals to ground their thinking and expectations of principals for student growth goals in Criterion 3, 5, and 8.

      • Planning At-A-Glance for Criterion 3 (PDF), Criterion 5 (PDF), and Criterion 8 (PDF): These planning at-a-glance documents from the AWSP Leadership Framework User’s Guide supports principals as they establish a focus, prepare for conversations, reflect, and identify next steps specific to each Criterion. The full version of the AWSP Leadership Framework User’s Guide is available for purchase through the iBooks Store or AWSP members can view it for free through the AWSP website.
      • Review of Learning Goal and Targets Protocol (DOCX) (PDF): Use the template to confirm that the student growth or learning goal has the right size, detail, and depth necessary.

STUDENT GROWTH GOAL SETTING

      • Setting Student Growth Goals in Principal Evaluation (PDF): This guide will assist principals in creating student growth goals and having the conversation with their evaluator needed to analyze those goals and outcomes (3.5, 5.5 and 8.3). The included questions can help a principal and evaluator brainstorm and plan.
      • Administrator Growth Goal Setting Forms (PDF): These templates and step-by-step recommendations for building administrators has been provided by Kennewick School District to use when setting student growth goals in Criterion 3, 5, and 8.
      • Wenatchee Principal Goal Setting Form for Comprehensive (DOC) (PDF) and Focused (DOC) (PDF) Evaluations: These goal setting forms were designed by Wenatchee Public Schools and serve as a guide for the goal setting process.
      • Student Growth Learning Goal Template for Criterion 3, Criterion 5, and Criterion 8 (PDF): Directly from the AWSP Leadership Framework, these student growth goal templates include each Criterion and reflective questions to assist in setting appropriate student growth goals.
      • Student Growth Goal Examples (PDF): These actual goals are from principals and provided by both the AWSP User’s Guide and principals from Washington State. These samples are intended to spark discussions around setting student growth goals, and do not necessarily represent distinguished or met goals.
      • Sample Student Growth Goal Setting Form – Administrator (PDF): A sample administrator goal created in Kennewick School District. Goals within a school could be complementary and aligned between teachers and the principal. This example is intended to spark discussion and is not necessarily perfect or a model goal.
