TPEP Administrator Training Funding

OSPI has identified a funding source that can be used to reimburse districts for the cost of Stage 1 and Stage 2 evaluator (principal, assistant principal, principal evaluator) training in the instructional and leadership framework. These funds will be administered through the iGrants process, form package 773, which is a budget-only form package.

To apply for iGrant 773 TPEP Administrator Training Funds, please follow the instructions below:

If your district does not have an approved iGrant 664 (TPEP Training Funds), you will need to sign assurances in iGrant 664 in order to be eligible for the TPEP Administrator Training Funds in iGrant 773. Please follow the instructions below first. If your district has an approved iGrant 664 for 2015-2016, please skip to step 9.

  1. Login to iGrants and enter 664 in the Form Package ID field and click “search.”
  2. Click on the Contact tab. Complete the page, save, and mark the page completed.
  3. Click the Application tab. From the drop down, select Page 2. Complete the program assurances, save, and mark the page completed.
  4. From the drop down, select Page 5. Complete the general assurances, save, and mark the page completed.
  5. Mark pages 1, 3, and 4 completed by click on on the “Mark Completed” icon. You do not have to fill out the information on these pages. There will be a check mark in each tab when the form package is properly completed.
  6. Click the Finish tab.
  7. Click Notify to submit the form package for organization review. Your iGrants Administrator will then submit to OSPI for review.
  8. Move to the 773 iGrant using the instructions below.

  9. Login to iGrants and enter 773 in the Form Package ID field and click “search.”
  10. Click on the Contact tab. Complete the page, save, and mark the page completed.
  11. Click the Budget tab and the “NEW” button.
  12. Enter your requested allocation into the calculator field “Allocated Budget Amount,” adjust indirect costs as needed, and click continue.
  13. Input your budget categories under 21 – Supervision-Instruction, then save. Ensure the total in the budget matches the requested amount in the budget calculator.
  14. List the trainings that administrators attended/will attend (title, dates, locations, and types of costs incurred) in the “Comments” section below the budget.
  15. There will be a check in each tab when the form package is properly completed. Click the Finish tab to verify you have marked each tab as completed.
  16. Finally, click Notify to submit the form package for organization review. Your iGrants Administrator will then submit to OSPI for review.
  17. All requests for iGrant 773 TPEP Administrator Training Funds are due by March 28, 2016.
